Industry is working on screen technologies without borders. Arbitrary details, free arrangement and form, flexible materials and feedable from your pocket: these are the defined goals of the engineers.
How can artists and designers react on these possibilities?
The participants of this workshop are invited to anticipate the benefit of new screen technologies already today and to explore it in free experiments and beyond 4:3.
With the help of projectors and small models, working and/or inspiring prototypes will be developed, which may also use sensors for simple interactions. Furthermore, there will be an understandable comprehension of the technical development and an overview of existing artistic works.
Available: beamers, styrofoam blocks, tools and power
Bring with you: found-footage objects, notebooks and ideas
Know-how: tinkering... and/or Photoshop, Flash/ActionScript, processing, After Effects, Blender
